Earth Day Cleanup at the Grasslands. Check out the event here on Facebook.

Join us on Earth Day to help cleanup the Shawangunk Grasslands! Fresh Spring air and excerise is good for the soul and it's a great way to show our appreciation for the Planet. Garbage needs to be removed before new life returns for the growing season. We will be walking the outer perimiter roadways collecting trash in bags for pickup.

Suggested items for the event:

- Footwear suitable for mud, water and walking

- Gloves - Sunscreen - Water to keep hydrated

- Tick repellent

- Bright clothing for roadside safety

There will be a lot of bending over and walking. Please bring items you may need to be most comfortable for this activity. A pole with a nail on the end of it or something similiar will be useful but not required. The event duration is approximate. Invite your friends so we can share some laughs too. The more who show up, the quicker we can get it done! Thank you for spending your free time with us to help keep our world healthy and beautiful.
